　　作为BBC传记电影，本片回顾了乔治男孩成名前不为人知的故事以及他和最好朋友玛丽莲（弗莱迪·福克斯 Freddie Fox 饰）的同居生活。电影侧重描写乔治男孩与多位男性的感情纠葛，为他未来的一蹶不振做出注解，同时如实呈现了英国纸醉金迷的70至80年代。
