◎简　　介

　　本片讲述的是，来到罗马车站的美国妇人玛丽·霍布斯，坐上前往巴黎的火车，但她一直坐立不安，此时乔班尼走了过来，劝她不要走，她有所心动，决定乘下一班车走。他们二人是在意大利的一个偶然机会认识的，二人过了几天相爱的日子，但玛丽执意要走，使乔班尼非常生气，打了她一个耳光后快速的的溜走了。再度在月台上看见玛丽的乔班尼，跨过正有火车开过来的轨道来到她的身旁，于是二人相拥走到了阴暗角落亲热，被警察抓到。而很有人情味的警察放了他们，第二班前往巴黎的火车进入月台，玛丽上了车，乔班尼跳上车相送。在下来时，失足跌倒，而玛莉睁大眼睛显得担心不已。列车开走了，乔班尼失落地在月台上走着。
