　　然而，为了让这出伟大的遗作能够实现，需要三个深具原创性的绝佳舞者，好好表现这出舞作的创意。 而崔维斯（派屈克史威兹）、克丽莎（丽莎·妮米）以及麦斯三位舞者在这七年间，生涯也有了极大的变化。崔维斯虽然靠开设塑身中心赚了很多钱，但是在他的内心深处仍有心愿未完成；雀儿莎已经完全放弃了专业舞蹈的世界；麦克斯则自觉除了舞蹈之外毫无一技之长。 要追寻曾经失落的舞蹈梦想，这是他们的最后一次机会。
